Babelfishing Poetry: "Selfish Eyelid Reduction"

Hello, lovely to see you, so glad you've popped by my unassuming little blog.  I hope you've been enjoying your Thanksgiving celebration and are still staying safe.  While you allow your holiday meal to digest, let's enjoy some Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, rearrange the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's song, chosen at random, is Canadian indie-rock band Arcade Fire's "Rebellion (Lies)" (watch video here).  Enjoy.

Selfish Eyelid Reduction

Allow it to leave.
That's why business is easy.
Lip was born.
Remove heavy snow.

If you wish to do it,
profound human,
it's right, and it's hand-painted.
But, like Kahless' hand, heaven is careless.

This many of his actions seemed to feel his hands twice.
A faithful lieutenant general will come into shape.

All the pounds.
One life, other indispensable survival.
My cerebrum is in my cerebrum.
My eyes are alive.
That's it!
Selfish eyelid reduction.
