Hello, lovely to see you, so glad you've popped by my simple little blog. It's time again for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, kludge the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week's song, chosen at random, is the 1980s alt-rock band The Smithereens' "Blood And Roses" (watch video here). Enjoy.
Will The Liquid Cold Hang Still?
Gomez time, years ago.
Last good picture heaven yesterday.
Planet rain to see you.
What did you say?
I'm in love with you, but that's a mistake.
I want to live, but a bug.
I saw my eyes closed; *I*.
Bloody Japanese plump girls.
The heavens and the Earth, and only Denmark jacket
married October gain.
Winter death of plump girls.
Will the liquid cold hang still?
We love you forever, however, is criminal.
I have a life but belonged to a bug.
Private, see private
bloody Japanese plump girls.
Bloody Japanese plump girls.
