Wunderlich Park

Here are some pics from yesterday's visit to Wunderlich Park.

The second-growth redwood forest is damp from the weekend's rain storm, and the air is very fresh and cool.  Most of the trail had rivulets of water running down it.

Ferns are sprouting all over the forest floor.

Brilliant yellow oak leaf on a trailside bench.

A small flock of wild turkeys darts across the trail near the parking lot, their plumage iridescent in the late afternoon sun.
