Babelfishing Poetry: "I Know It At The Core"
Babelfishing Poetry: "I Know It At The Core"
Hello! Lovely to see you, thank you for stopping by, and woo-hoo, it's Friday already. Hooray! Let's kick off the weekend with some more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, randomize the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week's song, chosen at random, is post-punk Russian doomer-wave band Kino's "Night" (listen to song here). Enjoy.
I Know It At The Core
Signior Benedick,
there are no long-term long-term conditions.
It's night-time work.
I have the right to walk in the darkness of my first son.
Akira Iki, a train that has been sunk on the street.
Haze, haze, haze, haze.
I'm in love with my society.
My capital is not good.
I can't.
They don't know the best factory lighting.
There's a wedding, but I'll be young,
a person in the honesty café.
This is a single light, a clear and brilliant long night.
Stupid bat-bat,
these are fake.
Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh.
And now this is his idea:
lead me; lead on. Let me lead.
And I know it at the core,
yesterday.
