Babelfishing Poetry: "You Live In Sleepwalking And Sleep"
Hello! Would you like to see some more Babelfishing Poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, experiment with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem? Well hot diggity, you're in luck, because here it comes!
This week it's one of Canadian New Wave band Strange Advance's favorite songs of mine, "Worlds Away" (listen to song here). Enjoy.
You Live In Sleepwalking And Sleep
Time to kill the dream.
Memory, I think.
It was cold; we all were burned.
The rest goes to my head.
No time, I think.
It does not seem alive.
Look me in the eye.
Sorry, the world's streets and you
live in sleepwalking and sleep.
He was melting.
The birth of a child crying,
people trying to lose.
In fact, the heart,
bit slowly, disappears.
At night, the sun explodes.
We all know that.
This does not change.
Please see your eyes.
Sorry, the world's streets.
Art, science is not closed.
Thousand, one hundred million hearts.
This is a world away
"Oh, no, no," peace said.
If the only thing I do not like,
you should be.
This is a step in the world.
Peace.
