Babelfishing Poetry: "The Head Of The Vassal"
Babelfishing Poetry: "The Head Of The Vassal"
Hello, lovely to see you, so glad you've popped by my modest little blog. On this amazingly mild, spring-like Friday, it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, goof around with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week's feature is a haunting, odd little song about which it was almost impossible to find any information. It seems to originally come from an album of obscure 1950s/early-1960s exotica music. This track, done by the Baha’i Victory Chorus, is "Nightingale of Paradise" (listen to song and click SHOW MORE to see lyrics here). Enjoy.
The Head Of The Vassal
Celestial night,
what do you think
when the fight is easy fighting?
You wouldn't say that for them, would you?
And your thief also gave you too much.
I'm in my eyes all day.
Superior,
non-floating water surface ability.
Gaya and others
promise
the head of the vassal.
