Babelfishing Poetry: "Jesus Is Guilty Of Being Unreasonable"
Hello! Are you looking forward to the weekend? Me too. The weather is supposed to be nice, so I hope to be able to spend some time outdoors in nature enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. So until then, let's enjoy some more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, revise the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week's song, chosen at random, is pop punk artist KennyHoopla's "Hollywood Sucks//" (language advisory; watch video, which includes a few one-finger salutes, here). Enjoy.
Jesus Is Guilty Of Being Unreasonable
Disease,
in addition to its strength,
when you see what your brother is holding, when you protect him.
No, but lying in bed,
and Kahless starts eating too.
Here; you sharpen him here.
I am absent.
I'll be sworn in without dying.
These days are orphaned.
I love you; your back is empty.
Suddenly I'm talking on the phone.
Forehead, forehead, drifting.
Qualified!
Dior Klaw Klaw Klaw Klaw Klaw Klaw.
Wisconsin. Unreasonable.
Horatio,
there is no reason to say it:
Jesus is guilty of being unreasonable.
His time-sword,
go away with it.
Will you, sir?
You are a friend, you are welcome.
Are we together?
.
