Babelfishing Poetry: "I, The Deceased"
Babelfishing Poetry: "I, The Deceased"
Hello! Glad you stopped by, and woo-hoo, it's Friday already. Hooray! Let's kick off the weekend with some more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, shake up the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week, darkwave/synthpop group The Crüxshadows tells the story of "Eurydice" (listen to song here). Enjoy.
I, The Deceased
Midtones are like fire.
It's tactical. You know how.
Your words are your swear words and Japanese profanity.
My capital is my eyes.
If my voice is transferred to the chef,
I hear Yasushi's selfish heart.
After all, the face is deadly.
Geometry?
Objects and candles.
Whose teacher, sir?
Good luck, my boss, co-existing at the time of my association.
After being in another place, other measures are important.
I don't need words to review.
Please smell it. / I'm not a statue, I'm a regular bridge.
I don't care.
We must deserve your son.
I,
a woman.
I,
the deceased.
I,
this peculiarity.
I,
I'm totally ignorant about murder.
