Babelfishing Poetry: "Love Is A Day Full Of Eels"

Hey, glad you're here.  I've had kind of a rough week, so while I regroup and regain my bearings, let's enjoy some more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, tweak the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's feature, chosen at random, is Roxy Music's "2 H.B.," Bryan Ferry's tribute to film star Humphrey Bogart and his iconic role in Casablanca (listen to song here).  Enjoy.

Love Is A Day Full Of Eels

More attention is caught at the edge of the stroke.

Shingled papers
attract them to young death.

Long then you will love.
Maybe the detention ends.

I know school smokers.

I have seen here,
one year in Japan.

I have seen here,
weeping tears
because we are together.

It is always the last chance now.
Love is a day full of eels.

Purple, black and white, soft rice, concentrated white.
I am a hero and give.

Don't speak.
Magic is not magic.
But education is not important.

I have seen here, painful.
I have seen here.
Warriors may occur.

It's all about coming together.
