Babelfishing Poetry: "He Wants To Close The Doors In Mystery"
A bit of a scare this week -- I had to bring D. to the ER on Wednesday because he hit his head hard on a heavy piece of equipment in his photo studio. Fortunately they were able to rule out a brain bleed and a skull fracture, but he has a mild concussion and has to take it easy and limit his screen time for a couple of weeks. So far so good, so fingers crossed his recovery continues this smoothly.
So, in spite of bonks to the noggin, it's now time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, experiment with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week's feature is metal band P.O.D.'s "Boom" (watch video here). Enjoy.
He Wants To Close The Doors In Mystery
So, I know that you are one person.
You can see Kahless's leaders.
And yet, in this land of instant clay,
I have nothing to give,
but I know my kindness.
If an e-mail is sent spontaneously, it should be matched with an e-mail.
Here, sir; this is one spirit,
but I remember my son.
We will watch here.
If I know tomorrow, then I will be with me.
If you know your mind, your honesty should be angry.
My cognitive wife and child;
so much for myself.
But he wants to close the doors in mystery.
What is your will? If you are sad, take action.
This is my heart, my lord; the self is the master.
I don't care.
Unscrupulous! Raw flame.
I think you might see your opinion.
Unscrupulous self! The other is completed.
Plaster! Raw flame.
But answer, but answer, with passionate advice.
Fertilizer! The other is completed.
How do you know he loves her?
Do you know eyes?
As if I had changed, I am altered.
