Babelfishing Poetry: "The Singing Of The Bean"

Babelfishing Poetry: "The Singing Of The Bean"

This week D. found out he has a benign retinal capillary hemangioma.  The fact that it is benign is little consolation, though, because it's causing a huge, distracting floater that he can't ignore.  Plus, being a photographer, he relies on his eyesight to earn a living, so of course he's worried even though the ophthalmologist told him it's not something to worry about and nothing needs to be done about it right now.

So, while we wait for his follow-up appointment in September, let's enjoy some more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, tweak the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's feature, chosen at random, is The Doors' "Roadhouse Blues" (listen to song here).  Enjoy.

The Singing Of The Bean

And you want to have an animal in your head?
We are back home.
Fun time happy hour.

Go to paradise.
Find a friend.

Bite me and bite me.
Success!
Here, Ruby; in this village.

Are you saying, is that correct?
I am walking towards myself.
Location?
All the Kyles are going.
Wash your hands.
If you are hiding men with honor,
you're not good eating.
All this has an impact on the singing of the bean.
I won a little story.
Simple words!
Spend.

Don't swear.
Please drop me off without sending any advice.

Nowadays I'm in pain and awakening.
I have an outpatient leg.

It's working!
