Babelfishing Poetry: "This Song Is A Big Stick!"

Recently it took over a month for our broken garbage disposal to be replaced by the maintenance crew in my apartment building.  The day after the replacement was installed, our dishwasher began overflowing into the sink.  It's been 2 weeks since letting management know about this new problem, and no one has been by to fix it.  Management is trying to hire a new maintenance person, so I guess they're short on personnel right now, and minor repairs have to wait.  First World Problem, I know, but still annoying.

So while I wait for maintenance to show up to fix what is probably a very simple issue with the air gap they created during the installation of the new garbage disposal, let's enjoy some more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, tweak the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's feature is the 1940s popular song "Stella By Starlight" (listen to the inimitable Ella Fitzgerald sing the song here, or listen to the 1944 film *The Uninvited soundtrack version here, or listen to Miles Davis' interpretation here, or listen to Harry James' orchestral arrangement here, or watch video of Nat King Cole playing the song here, or listen to jazz guitarist Larry Coryell's version here.)  Enjoy.

This Song Is A Big Stick!

What's the spring,
but never eat him and never desire?
Heaven is evil and forces your weapons.
After the couple's wave returned,
they gave it to their loved ones.

Suspicion of our society?
Suspicion of our society, domestic worker.
This is the reason why I haven't met.
I'm living in the same room,
and I'm in the middle of my heart.
Criminal accusation and other mischief.

The song is a big stick!
Bright stars.
This is not a dream.
I am a selfish-mind society.
The other world has arrived.
